The needs of the individual child are paramount at Once Upon a Time and staff and parents work together to ensure children feel secure and happy during their Nursery experience. Each class has an Information board for parents and monthly class newsletters inform parents about learning activities with suggestions for how they can help at home. Staff are always available to talk to parents about any concerns and will often share good news stories and pictures of children enjoying their day via Bloomz.
Bloomz is our main way of communicating between parents and class teachers. It is a secure program that allows us to update a class feed with activities and videos from the day. Each child is allocated a secure and private ‘portfolio’ that teachers will update with personal successes and learning stories. A class calendar and messaging system allows quick and responsive communication between parents and teachers.
The Head teacher and Proprietor welcomes feedback, both constructive and complimentary, and are always available to listen and deal with any issues you may have.
